Rooted in connection. Rising in strength.
At Root & Summit, therapy begins with developing a genuine connection. I believe that meaningful growth happens when you feel truly seen, heard, and understood. We will work together to understand where you came from, and build upon that understanding to reach your goals - however that may look for you.
I work with adults 18+ and have specialized training working with those who are experiencing major life changes, grief, anxiety, depression, perfectionism, and burnout. I have further experience with adjustment disorder, college mental health, developing coping skills, women's issues, relationship issues, and existential crises.
My approach is integrative and grounded in evidence-based practice. I draw from humanistic therapy, honoring your inherent worth and capacity for growth. I incorporate Internal Family Systems (IFS) to help you understand and compassionately relate to the different parts of yourself. I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) strategies to support practical change, emotional regulation, and new ways of thinking and responding.
Above all, I work to see you as you are, and integrate the strategies that feel most authentic to reaching your goals. This blend allows our work to be both deeply reflective and action-oriented. Together, we will develop awareness, self-compassion, and tangible skills — not to “fix” you, but to help you reconnect with your most grounded, confident Self.
I believe strength is the courage to become who you are. Seeking support in that process is an act of resilience and self-respect. I am honored to walk alongside you as you grow into a version of yourself that you feel proud of.
